With a lifelong passion for strong connections between parents and children Billie was trained as a parent educator by Don Dinkmeyer Jr., of Systematic Training for Effective Parenting, and has been teaching fee-for-service Education classes for the last 12 years to parents, teachers and mandated parents.

In order to deepen and enhance her communication, group and facilitation skills she was trained in 1993 by Jack Zimmerman of the Ojai Foundation in Council technique.  This technique combines a set of specific guidelines or "intentions" that are established, monitored and enhanced by the Council leader throughout each Council setting.  Council provides the space for connection to form among participants and by its nature sets a tone of deep resonance.  Billie has brought the power of Council to corporations, schools, families and community groups.  Former clients include a privately-held holding company with over 300 owners, a prominent private school serving 6th through 8th grades, a public middle school of over 750 students, a private middle/high school, and numerous woman, community and youth groups.   

Billie completed Coaching for Personal and Professional Mastery with the Newfield Network in Olney, MD, in 2000.  Deepening her wisdom, she has recently completed the Newfield graduate program in Ontological Coaching. 

Billie weaves her experience in Coaching, Council and Parent Education into a thriving coaching and consulting practice, working with individuals, families, community leaders and organizations.
