I believe the family is the building block of society and that the work we do there and what we learn as a result of those seminal relationships is the most potent relationship work we do in our developing years.   As former first lady Barbara Bush said to the graduating class of Wellesley college: "As important as your obligations as a doctor, lawyer, or business leader will be, you are a human being first, and those human connections .....with spouses, with children, and friends .....are the most important investments you will ever make.
